  • InternationalObserver,

speaking as an observer also: that's a load of bollocks.

More likely is that Bush will bomb Iran (Pentagon ‘three-day blitz’ plan for Iran) and then stand back and act all surprised when it doesn't go as well as planned.

Gee, how do you think moderate muslims around the world will re-act when we take out the Iranian military? With joy and appreciation for removing the hardline mullahs that have kept their jackboots to the throat of Modern Islam, of course!!

Allah be praised and all blessings upon America!!

  • Rob Hosking,

The other story I remember was about The Bilders releasing a 7" single with a sealed plastic sleeve in the shape of a fish so to get the record out you had to gut it with a knife.

Re: the link to the Name Suppression song - a nice touch by whoever did it. Like the credit to 'Whited Sepuchre' - a bit obscure these days, its a reference to a line in the King James version of the Bible, where Christ damns the hypocrites who are all holy and gleaming on the outside, but "ravening wolves" on the inside. Yes, the internet/mobile will change your game, but do tv folk really think they can return to previous levels of ad revenue? Yeah, right. Esp enjoyed NZOA lady wagging finger at TVNZ guy, saying 'hey, we gave you $75 million.." I knew his response as soon as she said it. "Yeah, and we gave the govt $80 million dividend". How could she not see that coming? He he...

Like, say, if anyone in Iran reads the paper.

Normally, I'd assume that anyone planning a 'surprise blitz' that was this effectively publicised was planning to NOT do it, just letting the other guys know they could. But with Bobo the Wonder Monkey in charge, who knows.
