LOL Craig!
-
Even when Damian Christie mentioned later that he had a gig with "the new Paul Holmes show" I didn't twig.
No sane person would have heard that comment and thought he was referring to the replacement for Agenda.
-
It's Santa Cthulhu, you vile blasphemer.
I thought you were the Grinch who stole Christmas.
All hail Cthulhu.
-
Cthulhu, Paul Holmes and Damian. Do I detect a theme?
-
I certainly won't be watching the racist twat.
Yep. If folks had any credibility they would simply refuse to appear on his shows. I know I don't watch TV but just *knowing* he is back is a symptom of something terribly wrong.
-
I put it more down to the coverage format - trying to fit each feature money had been spent on
Heh. Like that wall sized touch screen that was only used to show running totals or parliamentary seats. The US channels at least used their touch screens to drill down to congressional districts when counting the vote. That was cool.

Wow - I knew Deja Vodo were crap but they could have at least thought up their own title as opposed to just rehashing someone elses (I'm reference the excellent album from Refused "The Shape of Punk to Come" ).
I also like the cthulhu icon - being a huge lovecraft fan full stop. I have a soft cthulhu doll on my desk at work - gets a few odd looks from some folks (sits right next to my print out of the mathematical proof that 1+1=2).

Something terribly right is occurring on Monday at 8.30pm on Prime. Won't be of any interest for those amongst you who have already taken illegality in their own hands, but still.

Excellent, Smithers!
-
I thought Craig's avatar was a rather endearing kiiwifruit angel...I prefer Cthullu (clean out of soul & cinnamon though.)

I assume you never heard their debut album, Brown Sabbath.

I should point out that when I say they're shit, I mean that lovingly. 'Today, Tomorrow, Timaru' is a work of genius.

Lightweight, celebrity-obsessed...

You have a cat named "Colin".....?
And I've got a cat named Phil. Want to make something of it?
Yes! Some kind of drummer and lead singer for a soft MOR band. Not exactly. He had a brother named Don - they were named after the Everly Brothers. And the both came after the late, lamented, legendary, Marvin (named after Marvin Gaye)

I have a precious childhood memory of seeing the Blerta bus roll past my school playground in Greymouth in the 70s. No one else knew what it was, but I was excited by it.
Had a similar experience in Nelson back in the early 70's standing on the road outside our house when the Blerta bus rolled past. Got a wave from the occupants. Telling my folks about it and what the Blerta acronym stood for I got the response-"That won't get you School Cert!"
-
Ah, the nostalgia of teaching to the test (and failing half the students)..
-
Yeah but I passed-5 subjects although French was borderline on 50%.

Heh. I thought it was one of the Southpark characters turned green.
-
I think this could go on for months. Perhaps Craig ought to change his "From:" to "It's Chtulhu Santa".
-
Rob H, now you mention it...Cartman/Cthullu rules! Annnnd Kennies-

Aristocrats and toilet cleaners..
-
It's probably complete shit, but it is free …
You've missed your true calling in sales.
:) lol

Aristocrats and toilet cleaners..
Ok,( lost me at the bus stop.) Is this good or bad?
-
Shorthand influenced by Steven's poesie and my lack of sleep. "Our" settler nation always had both upper and lower classes, and school cert was originally part of the sorting mechanism that streamed students into their place in life. S'all I was sayin.
-
Actually pre-school cert.
You were sorted into an academic or blue collar school at about age 10-11. Completely different curriculums.
