  • Kumara Republic,

In tenuously related news, Danes have smaller testicles than Finns - probably toxins. Happiness clearly not correlated with big balls.

  • TracyMac,

Ahhhhh, yes, BitKeeper. The lovely hissy fit they had with old Linus and co. So pathetic. Thanks Julian - it was bugging me I couldn't remember the parties involved!

  • Paul Campbell,

I was around while that went down and it was rather more low key than you probably think - I think it was more a case of Linus getting fed up with the sniping from the free software purists, he seemed happy to continue to use BK - certainly Linus and Larry were cordial afterwards (I'd occasionally run into them in the cafe down the street from work afterwards).

Can we not forget the Topp Twins. At the zoo, tomorrow. I, for one, am inordinately excited.

I saw the poster for that yesterday. My fist thought was "What? are Micheal Lawhs and Jenny Shipley doing stand up now?"

  • Jackie Clark,

Ha! Laugh you may, Barnes, but they were bloody brilliant. They even exhorted the crowd to rise up and give the heaveho to the SuperCity. I love them. I cannot stress enough - LOVE them.
