And wouldn't you know it, Nick Dwyer has had to pull out owing to a commitment in Dubai.
Dick Johnson will be subbing in. I'll amend the post accordingly soon.

Niceness. My man DJ Wrongtom has a "..meets the Ragga Twins" album coming out later this year. Expecting nothing less than wall to wall bangers.

The Listening Lounge is a great addition to the Splore quiver. I'm looking forward to the discourse...

Part of me is really looking forward to 3pm Saturday, when I can relax and get my Splore on.
And I must say, while it's sad that the Brand New Heavies have had to pull out, the fact that it means a bonus Leftfield DJ set on Saturday night is not unwelcome.

Treasonous talk. The boy's talent was apparent from an early age.

Do we really have to do Max Key jokes?

Apparently he's off limits for jokes and ridicule.
So maybe we do, for the sake of his poor colleagues who can't.

See, here's the thing, Chuck Norris is so last century. ;)
On a lighter note then?....

Radio DJs at George FM have been warned they will be taken off air if they say anything negative about the station's newest host, Max Key.
oh fufuxache, more and more we are being told how or what to think. I reckon he's in the same boat as the rest of us.

Moz,
Aroha Harawira at Orcon IRL was interesting, the video is on utoob and worth listening to (it has talking heads if you're into that, too).

Indeed, he comes from a high pedigree of Plankers, Plank of America, Deutsche Plank, Plankers Trust, ASP. PNZ… the list goes on.
Max Key's first show on George FM is on February 16, where he'll unveil his new single, Forget You, rumoured to be about his Fathers attitude to the people of New Zealand

My sentiments exactly, I'm keen to hear what a Leftfield DJ set consists of... Also of note is that the Sun Shack is running a solar power sound system, which previously graced the theme camp bar - with greater speaker capacity for this Splore. I'd highly recommend being there from say... 7.30 on Friday night...

Angry DJ ignores warning
IT seems the DJ's are being fired without knowing. -
He does not use alcohol or drugs and has not done so far many years.
Sooo? Could you get a panellist who has done drugs and feel they have been of benefit to themselves?
wary of any move to relax drug prohibition.
Missed the boat on alcohol and ciggies tho' Huh!
When I heard Maxies single name I thought of Cee Lo. But guess you cant copyright a song title. And I doubt if the lyrics are so instantly changeable But then Cee Lo has that indefinable quality 'class' So I dedicate this to the pretender maxie
