Great panel.

+1 Sacha. I look forward to the show.
Foreskin's Lament was the first grown-up play I saw. I think, but am not absolutely certain, it was at His Majesty's and had Kelly Johnson as lead and Roy Billing as the coach?

Great panel.
Good score.

Will we go the whole show without mention of Australian gossip columnists taken more seriously here than by their own outlet, recently wed English captains gone wild (maybe) and a concern troll moral panic dressed up as an intervention?

The introductory video track does contain the words "Don't Tindall", in a sort of aliens-have-taken-over-my-TV context. On the bright side, Jean-Luc Picard also features.

At the risk of going back to an ugly topic (without reading all 10,000 comments in other threads), why wasn't there an official radio station for the opening celebrations? We give traffic reports to commuters, but didn't seem to have any central reporting on which areas were filling up and how the roads were doing. Seems obvious, in hindsight.

See you there, with another minibus load of students. Will try to get there, this time, before all the snacks disappear.

Overseas they have this technology called RDS that cuts from the station (or other source) that you are listening to into any traffic reports that pop up.
This has never caught on in NZ (and will soon be obsoleted by real-time traffic over mobile internet, except for visitors who can't afford the roaming fees).

I wasn't impressed by the stupidity that is the Zac Guilford confession - is it a reponse to tweets.
Feel free to mention Gear's non selection and the Hnery comments we will pick on form. Is that good or bad form
Also the gloating following the Oz loss to Ireland.

You hammered the ball into touch with this Russell (siphoned from the other thread):
Ironically, the international media stories about the opening night problems only came after the “take control” press conference.
Like ugly rumours of an argument in the greenroom following a well received play - Oasis come to mind. It seemed like the minister in question mistook the 50M or so RWC opening ceremony target demographic for his constituents.

The way the snacks disappear is really quite remarkable.

Media students who’ve learned the cardinal rule: Blag all the food, liquor and non-nailed down swag NOW. Long and happy carrers in media see I do, my padiwan learners…. :)
