No, it isn't. It's a fairly nasty piece of implicit slander, based on Worth being a sleazebag and Rankin being widely disliked. However much you may dislike Rankin's appointment, and God knows I disagree with it, to imply she slept her way into it without any basis other than the above is not on, and, quite frankly, says more about you than anything else.

Just thinking, you really shouldn't go there. Worth's not been charged with anything (at least last I heard), and has admitted nothing. Defamation laws exist.

None at all. It was Paula Bennett who took the proposal to the Cabinet Committee (APH - Appointments and Honours) and Worth was never a member of APH nor of Cabinet itself.

When he friended me, I didn't know who he was (true) - I found out and thought I'd let it stand, just to see what use he made of it, sort of an experiment in how the pollies would be using social media. Never heard another word. I deleted him when I heard about the Indian trip.
