Hi Graeme,
Your headings "Arbitrariness in sentencing dates" and "Home detention" are mixed up.
Otherwise, it's great. I haven't written anything yet. Can I join yours?

Happily that, and the erstwhile error in the headline are artefacts of the copy paste process, and not errors in the submission itself.

Yes.

Thanks for doing this, Graeme.

Thanks for sharing this. One question - what threshold are you referring to in your overview, where you state "I would welcome any further opening up of the right to vote, including, for example, raising the threshold"?
-
If they are going to ban some prisoners from voting, maybe those serving 5 years, or with non-parole periods of three years?

Ok thanks. Sorry, that's probably quite clear in the context. I confused myself. When I read that sentence I'd interpreted it as having wider applicability than the rights of prisoners to vote, and found myself briefly wondering whether you were talking about the voting age. But it clearly wasn't that so I asked.
