  • ScottY,

So there's no companies equivalent of cybersquatting with someone's name?

No. But once you start trading using the name you can get yourself embroiled in potential trade mark issues.

But you don't, and you won't, right?

No. I have better things to do with my time and money.

  • Craig Ranapia,

Dude that is lame. So lame. Immature. I always knew those Young Nats/ACT were in to the BDSM but didn't need the visual!!

Dear Nick Spencer: I see you're a noob around these parts...

I commend your restraint, Mr Ranapia.

Hey, if the Young Nats were into BDSM it would have made my life much easier, back in the day. ("Finish that policy paper now, Gimp, then I'll spank you like the dirty dirty man-slut you are.")

    Who owns Keith Ng now?

I'm concerned that this man goes by the name Whaleoil and uses a gravatar of a dolphin.

Yep nice restraint Craig. Was joking. Not aiming for 6000 posts man, beleive me. Just happened to post on it while browsing around last night. My apologies.

Bit of a sidetrack from the drugs I was interested in posting on!! In another thread. If I ever reach 6000 posts and obtain that senior status level, shoot me. Cheers.

Nick, I hope you'd not be put off by Craig's comment; I read it as a criticism of Whale, not of you. I've been on the wrong end of Craig's wit, but mostly it's well intentioned and hilarious.

Darling, I was teasing too so don't get too bent about it. Folks who've been around here for a while know I'm the token Tory (joke), and generally don't take kindly to cracks like that. Slater is a creepy arsehat, end of line -- please don't tar me, or people I respect, with the same cetacean shit-stained brush.

(BTW, I've been a member of the National Party for eighteen years, and was secretary of the LNI Young Nats - and sec of the Victoria Uni branch - from 1995 to 2000. Tragically vanilla on the sexual front, sad to say.)

Though there's a best-selling poli sci thesis to be written on youth wings of political parties and in influence of self-inflicted ethyl alcohol poisoning on policy formation. (In brief: Don't try to do anything useful first thing in the morning.) :)

  • greenlove33,

Hey Craig my apologies I should have worded that better!! I am in no way unsupportive of BDSM etc in fact it makes life more interesting.

I am more offended by the American type of social conservative politician who puts across strong homophobic views as a truth but in reality is banging male prostitutes(or mistresses whathaveyou) while charging on P.

I have nothing but respect for someone standing behind their sexual orientation, but get really annoyed by the hypocrisy of politicians preaching "family values" while banging everything in sight!!

I just finished watching "Jesus Camp" and its scary as all hell. It is that type of politics that annoys me and I should have made that more clear in my initial post.

    Anyway, glad that is over.

    Peace.

  • Steve Barnes,

I, for one, am not surprised.
Mr. Slaters attitude has always been that of a Sociopath. He hasa hatred of people in general and a sense of entitlement to social constructs that work in his favour, in this case, his Insurance Company.
If Wailboy were receiving a Sickness Benefit he would have his peers rial against him and denounce him as a Bludger but because it is an insurance company it's ok. It's OK because an insurance company will cut you off when you are no longer profitable if it can and in this case it could. Dontcha just love the smell of the free market now Mr Oil?.
    Oh, and get well soon.
    ;-)
