Scientist - Dance of the Vampires.
As featured on K-JAH, the only station worth listening to. At the time, it drove me batty that every time I stole a car, I'd have to retune the radio to 103.7FM.

5 day tests, in the arse-end of March. Every year, NZ Cricket schedule something at this time, and every year, the weather gods respond with "what the hell were you thinking? Here, have some rain."

Relaxed.

I repeat myself, but..... Wild Applause!

Don't mention the frakking eye-test machines at the AA for licences. In the last couple of years I've finally got my motorcycle licence, which meant 3 opportunities to pay $20 to the optometrist for a piece of paper that says I can see well enough to drive, all because the frakking AA eye test machine doesn't work for me. And a lot of other people I've talked to. But apparently we're statistically insignificant.

I saw the same thing 6 weeks ago at the Eric Clapton concert - I was in the nosebleed seats up the back, from where I had a great view of people who'd paid top dollar for the floor seats being repeatedly told by Vector staff to sit down whenever they tried dancing in the aisles. At least they gave up on that for the encore.

Phil Goff? Couldn't you have found an actual liberal? Or at least someone from somewhere vaguely on the left side of the political spectrum?

I've shot women's cricket as a stringer for the news programme of one of the national TV networks - a visiting international side a few years ago. A former male intl player from that same country was their coach.
The initial conversation from the reporter was along the lines of "mate, we need you to go and shoot some lesbian cricket. <snicker snicker>". And of the list of questions he'd given me to ask the visiting coach before the game, one of the first was "Why are you coaching women?"
I was (a) disappointed and (b) unsurprised.

... but there was something about him that caught at her heart like a fishhook in a seagull's throat.
Oh, more wild applause. Love it!

I'm not entirely sure what that means either, though it could indicate a use for my lightsabre and thigh-boots.
Wild applause! Too much awesome for one blog!
