I think this was a Syd Barrett tribute? – and singing ‘Arnold Layne’ to a rapturous reception.
I was watching them play Comfortably Numb at the same concert just yesterday.
And I know Placebo ain't everyone's cup of tea, but Bowie obviously liked them, so that's Ok then.

Does anyone swim?
Not while we were there. Hard to imagine, in all honesty. There is also the small matter of electrical pylons looming overhead. I for one found the concept of getting in the water a little... fraught.

The new Onehunga beach/foreshore on Christmas Day, late afternoon.
We just ventured down there too. Good to see some wildlife settling in. Although I think it is best suited to joggers and cyclists passing through.
Good walking connections from different sides of motorway.
