Capture: Tribute - Dr Chris Ward, in reply to
I’ve been pretty urban lately, but here’s the United Nations.
You reminded me of the ‘Non-violence’ sculpture outside the UN building.
Photographed here with keen young man in 1993.

New Chelsea Jade! I’m not sure whether it was recorded in New Zealand or in her new base in LA.
That's a sweet little track.
Is LA the new Grey Lynn? Seems like all the cool kids are re-locating and honing their craft, or something.
It's almost inevitable that Anthonie Tonnon and Nadia Reid will be next.
In the mean time, I'm off to see Avoid Avoid at the Whammy Backroom, if I can stay awake long enough.

I loved Chris’ chronicling of the riverbank life. For example. Or this.
Great series of images on those pages. Thanks Chris.
I spent last weekend in Gisborne, which is where Chris lived, and thought I’d post a few from there. I’ve been down that way three times this year, and it is a truly beautiful part of the world.
First three from Anaura Bay, about an hour north of Gisborne.

Were they grumpy and surly?
Can't say they were really. He doesn't smile much, this is true, but the energy in the room was pretty celebrational, which is hardly the JAMC vibe I was expecting. :-)

Cheers Brent. It sure suits the live photos better, I rekkin. Might go back and convert a few more.
Laneway for example would be a starter. :-)

This is so beautifully written, and allows us an insight into a world few would have any clue about.
Thank you Six.
I just wish our mainstream media had the guts to publish truth like this.
Tautoko and wishing you all the best.

Earlier this week Cactus Lab launched a new feature on Public Address which allows us to show photos in thumbnail view as a grid format, which links to a slide show. This post has been updated to feature the new format, and I think it’s pretty damn good.
