I never made it to the clubs themselves, but I loved the Freebass album that was recorded there. It disappeared with an old girlfriend in the mid 90's.
I managed to put it back together years later -- the cover came from the department store over the road from Sydney Town Hall (they couldn't find the CD so they gave me the cover) and the CD came from a discount store in Coffs Harbour.
A bit of persistence pays off in the end!

Dora a tough Hillary-like explorer. Her oversight is acceptable.
Her voice, however, could strip paint. There's the beef.

There aren't any good little wine shops anywhere near me, so I'll give big props to New World Birkenhead for having a bloody fantastic, ever-changing beer selection (La Trappe in the pottery bottles, anyone?) and Ashore in Birkenhead also keep a great selection of NZ beers in stock.

Furthermore, we are living the 21st-fucking-Century! Why does dentistry still hurt?!
Now that I'm paying for 20 years of not-going-to-the-dentist by having several years of going to ever more expensive dentists with fancy titles, I have discovered one thing: the really expensive good ones don't hurt much at all. And they have cool digital imagey stuff too.
The cheap crappy dentists hurt like hell and you have to go and get their work redone by a proper one after a couple of years anyway. At least that's how it worked out for me.

I don't know if they've changed them now, but we bought a bunch of those ecobulb lights (bayonet fitting) and they simply would not fit into the sockets at our last house; the metal base was too short for the pins to engage. Didn't happen with other brands or with incandescent bulbs. We've kitted this house out with (another brand of) CFL's though and it does seem to make a difference to the power bill.

Once when moving into a new flat, my extremely tall flatmate found a pile of Watchtower mags hidden away in a top cupboard. We left them by the front door for a while, and the next time the JW's came calling it went something like:
JW: "Can I offer you some interesting and informative literature?"
Kev: "Nope. But have I got some for you!" <dump> <slam>

The new Stuff layout is OK, although I'm intrigued that they've gone for a tall skinny layout when all the computers I seem to encounter have short wide screens. I'd like to be able to drag some content boxes into the empty white voids!
Also: The grey H2 headings in the boxes on the RHS have no left hand whitespace in all pages but the front one (Firefox 3.0.6, Vista).

Edit above to read: "G4 iBook".

does repair work too (fixed J's cup-of-watered machine for 1/3 the cost of Renaissance's quote).
Oh ouch. I wish I'd known that when our G4 MacBook blew it's mobo a couple of years ago. Magnum wanted $1800 to fix a machine that only cost us $1300 so we became a Mac-free household for the first time in years, and haven't yet gone back.

I liked Go Girls a lot, thought it ripped along, they used the Shore backdrop very well and I hope it develops nicely. I've frequently wondered whether TV reviewers actually watch the shows they're reviewing or just fast forward through a few minutes, as they frequently seem to miss the point completely.
