Don, I don't want to back away from what I have 'put out there', it's just that I see this debate clouded by philosophical lines more often than scientific ones. I may think about putting some material on my website soonish. I hope this will satisfy you wanting my 'public' response??

Well, do we really want to go down this track...perhaps I should should just go back to work...I could send it to you privately Don if you want.

" there's yet more evidence of falsification and lies in The Great Global Warming Swindle.."
We shouldn't let the lies from both sides of the debate (Al Gore and Martin Durkin) detract from the real science which is still in dispute. Let's remain open minded about the Climate Change debate; which I think you are.

We were all 16 or18 and life just staggered from one weekend to the next. All we wanted was friendship, laughs, community/identity. No normal 16 year old goes to a party expecting violence. When it happens to you at that age it's an indescribable horror. On another point, what I don't understand from my viewpoint is the attitude to the Police from these young people. On the one hand some taunt the Police and yet when an unspeakable crime happens to them, they need them...ah, the ironies of youth.

"All up, so far it appears National's policy for dealing with inflation is to basically strip buying power from the poorest New Zealanders to stop all the trickle up bouyancy in the consumption side of the economy."
And this is different from what we have with Labour? Increasing interest rates, petrol taxes, holding onto taxes they don't need etc? Seems the 'poor' get a bum deal from the one's they love?

oops...'prove' is the correct spelling

"No surprises that the US election was rigged"
Sarah, please provide hard evidence. Easy to intimate that it was rigged, hard to proove.

I am closely related to a what might be termed a 'severely'autistic person. This person is 30 years old now. I remember, when he was 11 or 12, the thoughts being expressed that there may be a high degree of violence from this person when puberty came on. It never happened fortunately. There's so many degrees of asperger and autism. On the one hand it's almost indetectable, but supplies enough differences to "normal" people who thrive on bullying such people they can't explain. I don't think there are any statistics to prove that violence emanates more from autistic people than others. The key is to treat them with the dignity any person deserves. I tappears this guy at VT was treated appallingly by many over the years. A very sad episode all around.

Have any of the Techies amongst you read this article about the health effects of WiFi. Seems there's a bit of panic/paranoia beginning. I'd be interested if you all have any thoughts?
