Too right about the DomPost, the coverage has been woeful, all of which will lead to another 'victory' for Prendergast via voter apathy.... Good work Wellingtonista though
-
Also the Good Morning America coverage was hilarious, crossing live to London for a report of New Zealand???
-
The HoS coverage was farcical, but not surprising. Milne's Twitter response about 'unreported looting' seems as farcical, all the reports I have seen from police are that crime is lower than normal levels.

Yeah, it puzzles us too.
It will puzzle me even more if no one else runs with this

Wow good work. A nice frank admission from Snedden, I have to be hoenst I've been pretty impressed by how up front and sensible he has been on the planning of the RWC.
I can't believe none of the MSM has asked Snedden this question yet.

In the interests of not starting a cycle vs car war I will only say that it is common sense to only ride one abreast and to pull in when a wide shoulder opens up to let a long stream of traffic open up. I will leave it there.
To get back on topic I don;t have a problem, you don;t see formula 1 cars pulling over if a car blows a tyre out

Its also an unwritten (or possibly written) rule that cyclists pull into the shoulder of the road around the south coast, but you don' see many following that....

Don't forget Weepu, thought he had a blinder. Kinda glad also to see Ranger left out, just don;t think he is the goods for test matches. Too many mistakes.
Safa complaining aside, you have to take your chances, which we did, you could argue that SA's first try shouldn;t have come after the dodgy Ranger penalty. We were the better team and deserved to win, simple as that.

in spite of the somewhat sullen nature of the last three games.
Agreed. For me the best round was the quarters, what with the Netherlands and Germany causing upsets, the Ghana and Uruguay's crazy game, even Paraguay almost upsetting Spain. And for all the talk of a dead rubber the third and fourth playoff was surprisingly good.
Plus the added bonus and joy of the All Whites doing as well as they did. Bring on the next season where I am hoping Spurs will storm Europe..... -
And it wasn't political reasons for Cryuff not going
I was going for the Dutch, but boy what a negative game. They did deserve to lose really.
