So what will they replace 3D with? I have a suggestion:
Scnut - a reality TV show tracking the life of a beleaguered gossip columnist who has burned so many bridges that nobody will gossip to her ever again. The show follows its antiheroine's desperate attempts to stay relevant and in the public eye.
It will be cheap to make, honest.

And what exactly do they think the Government should do?
The NZ Government should protect the rights of NZ citizens against the injustices of foreign powers.

By comparison, Trash TV like The Block costs much more per hour to produce than 3D.
Maybe, but trash TV like The Block is basically sponsored programming: product placement and stealth advertising.

Dear Mr Clegg, that's what happens when you break all your election promises and hop into bed with a party the vast majority of the people who voted for you think are evil scum.
The Maori Party comes to mind too.
