Hard News: Kittens and puppies for happiness, in reply to
That is the funniest thiing ever. And I like the old dog at the end "You let it happen". I can see it written all over her face. "Yes, and I thought it was amusing. And I still do. So bite me".

I was cynical, I must admit. "Otters holding hands?" I thought. "Must be an anthropomorphic thing, like when dogs look like they're kissing each other, where actually they are establishing nonthreateningness". But no, they drift apart, they drift together, and then "she" (is it a she? I like to think so) clutches the other's hand. No anthropomorphism there. They're genuinely holding hands. Yes, I cried at that bit.

Apparently people have been getting txts on their phones (I don't know who from) warning that if it rains in NZ, people should be staying inside, cos you don't want to know about that ACID RAIN. Please.

I am sure that can be arranged, Amy. Just let the Designated Social Co-ordinator (TM) know - that would be Russell - your dates!

There's only a wee bit of Mum's collection there, Jack. The exhibition isn't really about Crown Lynn, as such, it's more about the collectors. Anyway, next time you come up, just ask and Mum will be glad to show "that lovely young man" around!

Yes, Hilary. That's my sister. She and I were born on the same day 9 yrs apart from different mothers. So she's like me, only bossier. And that isn't the family collection that's there, it's my Mum's!
