Oh I agree with you ...umm... totally... on this one David.
Was this spurred by that woman on Morning report this morning from Budgetting Services? Absolutely was her answer to nearly every question put to her.
It is used everywhere, and so often, that has been devalued. Just the same way 'awesome' has been ruined.
Now , where are my slippers and why don't those kids turn that bloody racket down!

I have always found the the National Programme afternoon slot, no matter who is in the chair, soporific - sorry Noelle, but you as well.It just meanders all over the place with no purpose. Dull.
Laidlaw was once described by Braunias as "the most boring man on radio" and I think he got that right.
But Morning Report is still the best daily news service, and if I'm home nine to noon is usually on somewhere. -
His behaviour at the time was utterly reprehensible and inexcusable. Breaking someone's vertabrae like this is not just "lashing out" as far as I am concerned. His reaction in public has been less than commendable, and to me appears to be a self-erving attempt all about saving his career.
I hope he is never on our screens again.I would really love to know how much and for how long TVNZ knew about all this.

Wish I could have made it. Next time though

Yeah, I saw the cocaine use and thought "What?!?! I don't think so..." but never let the facts get in the way of a good headline.
Looking forward to looking through the new NZDep stuff - should be fascinating (It's the sociologist in me)

Great comment there Josh. If only...
General Question: If Mugabe goes, do we have any idea that the military and all his henchmen simply won't continue the terror? If he keeled over tomorrow from a heart attack, there is no guarantee that the regime will change is there?
It's not just Mugabe I guess is what I'm saying - there's a whole infrastructure of corruption and violence that he has built up.
How will the world deal with all that?

People do use thier indicators in Auckland - it's just that everyone seems to think they mean "I have turned"

I was living overseas for the Lange years, but I have to say that apart from not being Muldoon, (hooray !) I find it hard to see why so many people idolise him.
