@Steve yeah, thanks, darling - big bloody help you are! You should know that my technomological skills are somewhat lacking compared to yours. I'll tell you what - you pop down the road and do it for me!
As for Sky etc - where did the Doco channel go????? -
The problem I have is this (and I would imagine I am not the only one): I pay around $80 per month, just for Sky Digital. And that's just for the one telly in the living room. We have it because Ian watches TV alot, and sometimes for most of the day, if he's feeling poorly. I would get MySky for him but I think that takes it up to $95 p/m, and you pay for the box, which doesn't even belong to you. So they can get stuffed on that one. I would love Freeview for my TV, in the bedroom, which is the one I normally watch telly on, but I have a HD recorder, and as far as I'm aware, if I'm watching something through Freeview, I can't record something else on another channel. So what to do?

I am sorry you had mistook my italic emphasis for snapping. I do do a good line in snapping but only at people I know, and don't like! Impeccable online manners I have.

He doesn’t seem to be. He is. As a kindergarten teacher, because our equity funding - separate from any other funding - is tied to the decile of the school closest to us - and you only get the funding if the school is a decile 3 and below - we are required by the MOE to provide a list of all the addresses of all the families of the chn on our roll.

This had me howling. " every life lost in New Zealand through accidental tragedy -- every car crash, every lost mountaineer, every death by abuse or misadventure -- is a national headline. In this country of just over 4 million, equivalent to the population of Manhattan's Upper West Side, every life is precious, every animal cherished ." Whilst not completely true, it does resonate.
