I'm loving these reflections and upside downs and mirroreds... it really plays with your perception and gets you looking out at the world in other ways.
#1 looking at it I feel like I'm under the surface of the puddle.
#2 Military recruitment slogan, flipped and therefore mirrored, and puddled and road markinged.

Through a glass, muddily.
Funny, this big, new apartment complex seems to be well inhabited, but the shops along the southern side have never been inhabited, let alone abandoned. The complex reflected, though, has a well-established community and lively commerce - and my favourite teahouse, not that I've had time to get there for, ummm... ages.
Now, help? I actually managed to do something in GIMP, which was to mirror that image, but I can only save it in a .xcf format? Can I even post such a format here? Can I change it into something more "normal"? I'm struggling to figure that out... Any advice? Oh, wait, success with IrfanView! Achieved two things in one afternoon!

Good shot, Michael. I like it sitting sideways like that.

Yeah, I know, I asked the wrong question. I should've asked something like "Can we get the petty, narrow-minded, mean-spirited, selfish greed out of our politics? Can we replace it with compassion, tolerance and understanding?" Better?

Completely transformed. I thought it was a portrait of Godzilla.

Damn. Cos I'd just been seeing posts on Weibo of a "supermoon" over Auckland tonight. And I thought maybe you'd scooped the Greens' new problem gambling policy. NZ politics definitely needs more ray guns.
We've been trying a little time travel up here - here's my wee one doing her best 1930s International Settlement.

Really? Looks more like it's under fire from a million laser ray guns.
