Good but not good enough. We really to know that there will be a full year of Media 7 next year.

Another fan of Life

As in Other Breaking News...had a message late last night from Nick Grant, to say he has departed as editor of Onfilm. That is a loss to informed debate about the NZ screen industry.

Nicely put, Jackie. I certainly find more intellectual stimulation on PA than I do with many academics I hang out with.

The year started off thrillingly with Al Green at The Civic. Haven't seen or heard anything to surpass this yet. The Great Blend was a bunch of fun.
On TV, Prime's 50 Years of Television was damn good as was Mad Men, Media 7 and lots of other shows beginning with M.
Film highlights were Gaylene Preston's Home By Christmas, an outdoor screening of La Dolce Vita, The Secret in Their Eyes , Once Upon A Time in the West , The Four Lions, The Runaways, and Winter's Bone
So much music but I did discover The Felice Brothers .
Saw the Annie Leibovitz photo thing in Sydney but was a bit unmoved by it--except for the enormous photos of Monument Valley.

Well, my 17 year old daughter just called me a "twatcock", after I had called her a "tart little tart" . All in jest but it is starting to get around.

Those with sensitivities could possibly use the substitute cattwock

But Technically Correct ;-)

I had no idea we had so many wowsers on board. Colour me shocked.
Well, I am married to a woman with a really foul mouth and I love her for it.
Can't imagine you shocked, Jackie--let alone coloured-in.

Currently showing in your local cinema, Easy A includes twat as a joke which works. A surprisingly funny and clever teen movie, even though I suspect most teens won't get the clever-dick historical and cultural references.
Can we use TC as the short version for bad drivers and stupid politicians?
