I beg to differ. The older I get, the more I realise how little I actually give a shit what anyone else thinks. Because people really aren't thinking about us as much as we would think/like. I do give a shit, however, about what people may think when my husband insists on wearing his slippers out.

Well, at 46, I sincerely hope I am bloody middleaged. I can't be doing with another 46 years, as wondrous as this life has been. I do not want to live forever. All things have their time. One of my closest friends and I have decided that 88 or so, as long as minds are intact, and bodies still willing (which, realistically is a long shot) is a goodly age as far as old goes. But really? Life is such a crap shoot that no-one can know how long they'll live. All I know is that I sure as hell hope I'm still hanging out with you fellas in some shape or form by then.
Oh, and Pat? Really? Were you being facaetious? I should answer to you as I did my husband when I got a very short haircut, once, a very long time ago. He told me I looked like a butch dyke, to which I replied with much profanity, words to the effect of - My hair, not yours etc etc. He's very lucky he's lived, TBH. It’s how you wear the clothes, Ben. Not what sort of clothes you wear. Peoples’ perceptions are funny things. I have always maintained that people who know you really well, and love you, don’t actually really see your physical manifestation. They see you. An example of this is the number of people who have commented on peoples’ body size to me. I look at them, and wonder aloud if they haven’t noticed there’s a fairly fat person beside them. Oh, you’re not fat, they’ll say. Well, yes, I am. As muscled as I may now be after a couple of years being a gym bunny (My brother told me, tonight, that I had fantastic legs. That was a little strange.), I still have a very voluptuous covering of body fat. Beats the shit out of me, also, that people still don’t understand that sexy is very subjective and that beauty really is in the eye of the beholder. We all see things very very differently.

Emma, you have glorious tits, and as long as you feel they are glorious, keep on with the cleavage. I like cleavage, on myself, and other women. And I like other womens' breasts. I also quite like a woman who loves her body, and you can always tell the difference between a woman who has astounding cleavage, and knows it, and a woman who has astounding cleavage, but doesn't really know it, so displays her tits to get some sort of feedback. I love my tits. I'm the only woman in my family with fabulous tits. I know it, they know it, and they don't like it. I know this because the women in my family are always on at me to wear a bra. Wear a bra? Keep my breasts as slaves? I think not.
