I just want to ask you - who is that beautiful cat? Is he/she a new friend, or did he/she come with your beloved?

Hard News: The Engagement, in reply to
I watch it too. And I'm with you 100% of your summation. And also? I wonder how many of the people they rebuild for, actually end up keeping their homes. Because there's still mortgages and land taxes (that's what they call rates, eh Danielle?) and if people are in dire financial straits, then those aren't any more affordable than before. I do remember this one guy who had about 4 sons, he was a solo father, and I think the bank ended up taking his house from him. Shame!

I got nothing to say about that video, other than I'm pretty happy being a Kiwi right now...
I've always been happy being a Kiwi. Not fashionable, I know, at times. But I'm a bit like that.

Speaker: My People, in reply to
Thanks for that, Heather. I did wonder about it - there seems to be an awful lot of kids around. (I notice these things - much as you see thousands of people with red shoes, if you want a pair).

Re CeeLo Green, when I first heard the song "Fuck You", well the first few bars anyway, I thought it was a song I may have missed from the 70's. And then the chorus started. I love that song, and I was most amused to see him on Letterman the other day with the lyrics sort of not there.

Oh, yeah. Fair point, Guv'nor.

Okay, website guys. A question for you. Why, when I go to edit a comment, and then save it, it just disappears, and the only comment that appears when I post is the original? When you're as longwinded as me, I can't be faffed rewriting the whole bloody thing.

Once again, I go to edit a post, and save it only for it to disappear in the ether. Where’s the complaints dept?

Up Front: That's Inappropriate!, in reply to
I was asking, Jacqui, because I did go to Marsden, and your description of boaters etc sounded very familiar, is all.

Tess, I think one of the things that's getting on my tits about your whole argument is that having been a bit generous with your bounty, as it were, at university (well, that's the impression I have gotten from what you have said about it), you are now saying that we should curb teenage sexuality (which by the way, as others have said, repeatedly, is a very long way from a bit of a short skirt). I'm afraid it just doesn't wash. You cannot expect to be taken seriously with your pronouncements around young women and sexuality when you were once the very sort of person you are having a go at. It's like reformed smokers. It also sounds to me like you have regret around your first sexual experiences. Those are your experiences, not anyone else's. And I don't think it's fair to judge others by standards that may have been acquired by you in the last couple of decades.
