And while we're talking about Lost:
Kate wakes up to find Daniel, Boone, Miles, Michael, Ana Lucia, Charlotte, Frank, Shannon, Desmond, Eko, Kate, Jack, Sawyer, Locke, Ben, Sayid, Libby, Sun, Jin, Claire, Hurley, Juliet, Charlie, Richard, Bernard, Rose and Vincent in the shower, together with Bob and Pam Ewing, and realises that the storylines of the three preceding seasons were nothing more than a lengthy dream sequence.
Sorry to spoil it for you.

Managed to get my wife to watch a few Monty Python eps recently, having studiously avoided it for decades as pretentious, over-rated tosh.
Coming to it with a fresh pair of eyes, she noted that some of the devices they used were decades ahead of their time: ending a skit halfway through and simply moving on to another sketch, knowingly flagging the punchline (lucky I didn't tell them about the dirty knife!).
She reckoned you'd have trouble getting a lot of that sort of stuff commissioned now, let alone back in the 1970's. Especially relevant in light of B Jones's comments above: Hur hur, custard in pants, man gets hit in crotch by football, etc.
So while it is certainly of it's time, it does have to be remebered that at that time, it would have hit people like a slap in the face (possibly with a wet fish). What was the alternative? Terry and bloody June? The good life? Hyacinth Bucket?

Besides, what would a droid orderin a cantina? CRC?
Well, they were fond of oil baths. So perhaps when Craig refers to their own bar round the corner, he really means whatever the 'droid equivalent of a Turkish Baths is.
It must have been a nightmare for the cantina bar owner, though. If your clientele consists of multiple sentient species, then keeping your stock up to date would take some organising. No wonder he was so grumpy. Perhaps he just decided he'd simplify his operation and keep the overheads down by sticking to normal life forms and not artificial builds?

Rich, I declare you cant scan your own shout-
all you have to do is add *is*
"Great is meaning/large or immense! We mean it in/the perjorative sense!
And cool! I'd chant that!
Rich, I declare you to be hilarious.
Well, I did 'borrow' it from the Simpsons....
I have no creativity of my own. It was cauterised out of me when I started working for a law firm. On the upside, I did get a nice commemorative pen in return.

Hah! Why I should I listen to you?
Well, Tom, the reason I'm listening to him is because he's doing whatever the internet equivalent of talking calmly and reasonably is.
As opposed to barking and frothing at the mouth while chewing the carpet.

I wonder why most artists bother
I suppose because in the old days, even though the game was rigged, it was the only game in town.
Also, I should think most bands get into the game aiming for the stars (if they're thinking that far ahead at all), rather than sitting down to figure out how to maximise their revenue stream to make a reasonable income from moderate sales....
The deal is with the devil, but it may not turn out to be what you thought it would be.

Hey you one-tenth-of-the-way-to-being-kinda-but-also-kinda-not-necessarily fascist!
Not a very good protest chant is it.
Two! Four! Six! Eight! Rodney's crimes are very great!
Great meaning large or immense! We mean it in the pejorative sense!

The kind of idiot that knew that the original draft would go down like a cup of cold sick. And so thought they could make this change, and then point to it and say "see we listened to you during the consultation process".
and The Herald laps up that lovely cold sick and asks for seconds:
Headline: "Super City u-turn: People power wins"
Go back to sleep, citizens of Auckland. Everything is fine.

'Blue Chip Group Pty Ltd' and 'Blue Chip Financial Solutions Limited' own 6-7 NZ trademarks, according to the IPONZ database.
I've no idea how the ownership of those fits into the whole mess. I'd think they'd be more of a liability than an asset now. Who would want their product to be associated with that particular carcinogen?
Oh, and if anyone wants a bleak laugh, one of the TM's they applied for was 'futureproof'. It was abandoned prior to registration.
