Insofar as books are the next on the bloc to be digitised, I think Robbery has a point.
Perhaps I'm sensitive, and I'm as bored by me arguing with Rob as anyone else is, but it read to me like him making common cause with one member of the clan by dumping on the others. I just wish his first contribution to a conversation could be helpful rather than a snark.

Creepiest experience ever was when I was about 13 and I had fallen asleep in the sun in our back garden only to be awakened by a middle aged JW man standing over me who said "you were so beautiful sleeping". Total ick.
Eeeeewww!

Islander - here's some points to consider writers based on what some other people have suggested.
No one has suggested anything of the kind, but carry on anyway ...

Completely off topic, because I can't be bothered going back and finding the US voting system thread we had last year some time.
Report: Diebold Voting System Has 'Delete' Button for Erasing Audit Logs
The pile of rank bad practices that has accumulated around this is simply staggering.

In other news, the Herald, as part of its tireless drive to decrease the sum of human knowledge, has thrown the question What would you tell Andy Shaw about TVNZ's programmes? to the Your Views brains trust.

I understand there are 4 episodes available for viewing at the Film Archive in Wellington. Maybe NZonScreen (**why** is that a dot com FFS?) could look to putting them online ;-)
It has been discussed. Indeed, NZ On Screen would love to do it.

__This isn't one of those shady pyramid schemes you've been hearing about. No sir. Our model is the trapezoid...__
A headless pyramid! No one wins. What could be fairer?
Get a publisher!

Re Sterling.
I didn't go to Webstock this year, so I missed this "controversy" to which you allude. But reading his notes - do people not get the satire in there?Well, I did. I veritably lapped it up.
But about half the room seemed to be irony-challanged or confused by it.
