I'm a nobody indeed. Over 40, fat and female. Makes me invisible. Well done, witty one.

I'm a 65 year old amputee, (left leg) 40's a good score for me.

I talked to her at a party in London once. She was in the kitchen, wolfing down chocolate cake.

I saw black eyed peas fergy choke down 3 large slices of pav in the performers tent at BDO. I'm assuming there was some throat and finger action in the toilet soon after.
in her defense it was good pav.

sorry, Ill get my coat.... :)

    Because you've pulled?

I don't think jordan's quite that easy, although he may correct me on that. I remember seeing jordan blag his way into a YFC show at the old mill in timaru with a table of 8 women,

and - nah, because I watch too many british tv comedy shows.
I think it was the fast show, can't remember, they all become a blur.
it was the guy says inappropriate thing at party and without even being asked to leave does so gag, classic,

Are there many other places in the world where you could freely interact and have discourse with a legend?

yeah, quite a few, infact any country with a small population base really, but you'd have to interact with the legends of those particular countries.
malta would be an example. its so small you'd probably bump into said legends in the street, I know I did.
I'm sure it was pretty easy to bump into bjork pre solo career in iceland,

NZ's first few inductees should probably have been:
    1. Murray Cammick
    2. Eldred Stebbing (although Th'Dudes and Hello Sailor might argue)
    3. Phil Warren
    4. Roger Shepherd
    5. Trevor Reekie
    6. Mike Chunn
    7. John McCready
    8. Jerry Wise (posthumously)

After that it should look at the people whose careers these folk created.

and in modest fashion you've left your own name off the list so I'll pop it in there for you mate.

    9 simon grigg (propeller records)
    not forgetting
10 bryan staff (ripper - in partnership with mike chunn)

    Frank Gibson Jnr?

ok I was inferring that there wouldn't be any cos the hall of fame thing is such a popularist concept, and as simon has noted in another forum unlikely to recognise many of the of the real heroes of NZ music (your murray cammicks & roger shepherds etc) outside of the bleeding obvious (neil finn dave dobbyn and that guy from dragon, can't remember his name etc).
Jordan Luck was a good start though, for all the other hardened cynics out there like me.
Dave Gent, Michael Harilambi, and Brian Jones (not to mention the departed "Fingers") may be waiting a long time for their induction.

My choice for drummer hall of fame though

    Bevan Sweeney and Caroline Easther.

Those two have drummed in practically every band anyway.
    (peter rooda anyone?)
