pollywog doesn't seem to be alone in here. half the posts could qualify for the cracked list. actually 90% of discussion on the internet could.
It's not the posts, it's how we're posting.
The intent matters, and I think is readily conveyed. There is a point at which we just start having fun too. It is often, in my meagre experience, in response to a period of needless personal attacks.
Even though I've only been here 6 months, I've come to appreciate that there is a 'community' and if one of the members is under attack, then others usually jump in to defuse, support or de-flay (not a word).
It seems to work well. By all accounts the Mods here are a bloody tolerant lot. Take it from me ;-)
