  • Hard News: Revival,

You seem to be confuting age & life experience with politics & economics.
On *very* slender grounds, I would suggest

Crosby Textor and most economists would differ.I can't see entitlement in the young uns, I see boredom and a real confusion to what we are actually trying to build here.

Are they entitled to a free education, to a reasonable wage and a chance at buying a house or is that just a phase that's gone?

  • Hard News: Revival,

    What's a baby boomer?

A Babyboomer is in a different part of their life than younger folks.
This has some economic and political ramifications.

Don't fill out your age in the census if you find it belittling but it is a useful term in politics and economics.

I mean Gen y are not Gen x although we share a lot of pop culture.

  • Hard News: A few (more) words on The Hobbit,

Reading all this, there seems to be a feeling, right or wrongly that previous dialogue was one-sided. That actors concerns were not treated with enough gravity?

    B Jones, well put.

She also was voted back in on a 41% vote at best. She maintained that level for Labour whose core vote seems to be around 35% by being one of the best leaders i've ever seen in this country, although the competition is not remarkable.

  • Hard News: Unreasonable people vote,

Helen Clark was a lesbian, manhater according to many men I've met, and she was ugly to boot.We never really got on to policy.

actually personally she's quite unique looking and takes a great photo straight on but my vote isn't on the photo.
