And yet this ordeal brought you to us, and that's been such a good thing Lilith.
+1
I was okay today until I visited Philip Matthews' blog and saw the picture of Peter Majendie's memorial work '185 Empty Chairs'.
This also. Gudrun Gisela posted a similar photo on the Christchurch Photo thread (after accidentally putting it on another last night). Stops you in your tracks.
All the best Emma and everyone in Christchurch.

Thanks Gudrun
I thought you would be out and about already, so just decided to take the liberty of re-posting it myself. Luckily you beat me to it.
For Capture followers, we hope to have a new post on the memorial services at some future stage, but in the mean time, if you haven't already, I recommend a revisit of Adrienne's post above, and also her recently published Herald article.
And it is compulsory that you read the posts by Emma and David. Which I'm sure you already have.
Arohanui Christchurch.

21 of February 2012.
Hi Gudrun. Thanks for posting this photo. I wonder if you wouldn’t mind re-posting it on Adrienne’s ‘Christchurch: Last One Standing’ post, which I had thought about reviving today, in lieu of a full post from Christchurch.
Cheers

3: The Speaker of the House with his giant bull:
I've always found it mildly amusing that a PhD in Animal Husbandry should become Speaker of the House.
Orwellian, or what?

These guys did a lot of work and turned their back garden into one big swimming pool.
Stranded in paradise. Great shot.
That pool would have been a nice place to be yesterday. Damn it was hot! First heat stroke headache of the season. If you can't swim in it, at least remember to drink it.
Note to self.
