"Faith-based groups" are often wonderful, but let's consider for a second the wisdom of offloading our social safety net onto groups whose "core business" is so open to wildly varying interpretations.
Not to mention their roles as 'safety net' only exist as a result of societal failures. When giving a damn becomes the exclusive domain of faith-based groups, we are in trouble.

A couple of weeks ago a bumblebee flew up my trouser-leg and got stuck. It stung (or possibly bit -- I'm told they don't sting) twice and I got these enormous red welts on my calf.
Ouch.
Forgive me, but I couldn't help thinking of this;
Johnny ate a bumble bee,
cos it bit him on the knee. -

I AM Scrawl. I made that old mistake of saying to a 9yo 'write anything', so she did.
I fancied it looked a tiny bit like a McCahon.
Actually, it kind of does.
ETA: Yes, being confined indoors for two days is taking it’s toll. Had to get outside for some air, so photography seemed obvious low intensity activity.

Gudrun Gisela scanned it, & I rotated it 1 degree right & removed a couple of dirt specks and here it is after sitting in a box of slides for nearly fourty years
