That's the one. You certainly caught his best side in the photo too. ;-)

Funny thing happened to me at Laneway, someone started talking to me thinking I was him, but in a dressed down state. I wasn't at all offended. He seemed really nice, and when the young reveler above, covered in paint, decided to give him a hug in his pure white caftan, he didn't seem at all bothered.
Don't know who that guy with the balloon is though. Must be hiding something. ;-)

Now a cymbal that's been cut into a spiral. It actually sounded pretty cool. In fact she played a lot of cool instruments - Harmonium, bass pedals, guitar and various percussion items.
Thanks Andrew. Caught only a bit of this set, but liked what I heard, and saw, in the instruments department.
Yes, Dialing A Prayer and APS were good overall, but there were some troublesome moments with the PA, as Russell mentioned.

Hard News: Review: Lana Del Rey, 'Born…, in reply to
I don’t quite understand why they keep sticking her out there in bare-bones live TV settings to perform songs that are bloody difficult to carry off live without a production.
In vaguely unrelated news, I caught Adele and R Kelly on Later With Jools last night singing Set Fire to the Rain and I Believe I Can Fly respectively. Whether you like either performer or song, it's great to see how they should be sung after watching would be x-idol-factor contestants murder them completely to death. Tautology intended.

That's a terribly-written review. Oh dear.
It is a student paper, but yeah, it looks a bit like an assignment. C- ?

The saga of Lana Del Rey reaches its inevitable Taiwanese animation chapter
That is hilarious. I stumbled upon this fairly scathing review from the Harvard Crimson yesterday too.
"Off to the Races” is the worst of these anachronistic pairings, as its lyrics form a scattered assortment of over-the-top, clichéd lines and tasteless subject matters. "
Yeah, and your point is? This is not limited to LDR.
The more I read of the negative stuff the more I think she is an easy target for the pent up frustration with manufactured pop. Well, YMMV I suppose.
Still, she should stick to the recorded world, or do a lot more practice, as her live stuff is truly awful, all things being treacle.
