You can feel the warmth in there. Lovely.
Yeah, even the blues are glowing. Nice shots, Sofie.

My soundtrack doesn't involve much birdsong at the moment, but this well-digging machine with its rhythmic whir-punch-clank. It's not loud, and oddly comforting...
And that blue sky was so nice to see... Beijing dawned grey, murky, filthy and stinkingly humid, but when we crossed over the mountains we could see clear across the basin.
Unfortunately I've got paperwork to catch up on...

And tell me how you fair buying great swathes of Chinese farmland next time, eh?
Chinese people can't buy Chinese land. All land is either state-owned or collectively-owned. Foreigner investors in China can buy the same land use rights that Chinese people can buy, albeit with certain restrictions around national security or the national interest.
So, nice little red herring you've got there.

The “City of god” is in Wiri

Well, alright, fair enough. But I woulda thunk that if she were going to the trouble of travelling all this way to help drum up a bit of business, then surely Wellington's local rag could've had the decency to report a bit more on her trip, perhaps even send somebody along with the delegation to see what she got up to.
But the point I was trying to incoherently make was that the government could be doing a lot more about leading NZ into the future, but they're not. And the media could be helping with that, but they're not. And our business leaders could be helping with that, but where are they getting their information from?

Nice. The pukeko was my wife's favourite NZ bird until my mum sent my daughter ABCs for Kiwis and my wife discovered "P for piwakawaka".
