Interesting though that if this is the case and they were votes waiting to be counted then why have a separate Yes and No piles. Maybe there is an answer for that too. We will never know.
Come hell or high water the No vote was always going to win - too much at stake for UK to lose on this one. -

I had seen another video with the first lady moving yes votes into no piles. The rest does make you wonder??
Of course the answer will probably be that these videos are fakes or whatever. Maybe they are?
I don't know if there is a second tier of vote checking after the initial sorting.
On other questionable voting issues coming out are that some counties or towns had early polls as showing the Yes as being somewhere up around high 60-70% then on the day the No's were around 60%. All very interesting.

Totally agree.
Slightly off topic but there seems to be a whole lot coming out of Scotland about voting irregularities ( fraud, vote counting oddities, deceased people voting etc.. who knows ).
I dread to think that this could happen here.Thanks Emma

Thanks for that Paul - I really did not know ( should have looked that one up myself ). I don't support this level of enforcement myself. It was intended as just an another observation.
It is a pity that in NZ, that for many reasons, almost 1/4 of the voting public choose ( or have just been put off ) not to vote. To some degree us voters may well inherit an unwanted government by virtue of this. Something like this happened a few days ago from memory.
Carrying this discussion further I really look forward to John signing us up to TPPA as soon as possible so we can get our microchip implants.
I don't drink Tui but I may just be forced to, by whatever Mutli-National that owns it and most other NZ breweries now. -

I know nothing is completely foolproof but perhaps when they send out Electoral Forms before every election an ID specifically for voting ( with photo? ) could be provided and a mechanism/ system for checking this could be set up, it wouldn’t be that difficult. Most places in NZ have a Post Office or Police Station or Bank, whatever, fairly close by. There are exception to this but it would cover most voters.
I am not saying it should be done in NZ but in many ( most? ) countries Voting is compulsory.

It was just an observation.
Are there many people these days without ID of some sort? ( I don’t know ) I would have thought pretty much everyone would have something - drivers licence seems a good start?
I realise it is illegal and I am Not saying it should be done at all, it just seems possible.Hacking is also illegal and there is much debate about Public Interest.
I always thought secret taping of conversations was not admissible in court ( I could well be wrong again here ), but I have seen it done and deemed admissible in an Employment Tribunal case…shocked me at the time and it certainly changed the outcome of this case.
In the area of Dirty Politics it seems so much dubious, possibly illegal stuff is going on.
Again just an observation. I hope this hasn’t caused offence.

An observation..a little off subject but it strikes me as odd that you do not need to show any ID when voting. I showed my line drawing person mine anyway, I told my guy this and showed him my ID anyway - he smiled pleasantly.
Aside from hacking how hard would it be ( yes I know it is illegal ), given 1/4 of eligible voters don't, to go round voting on their behalf? You would probably get a pretty good strike rate if you had done a bit of investigation beforehand on who your target non voters might be. -

Your comment re Mr. Mora struck a nerve. I have just made a Formal Complaint to Nat Radio about him. I heard a few weeks back one of his guests, I think her name was something like Denise from a Strange orbiting Planet, she was pouring obscene scorn on the poor. Usual stuff - get a job, plenty out there, stop spending on grog, fags etc...But what hurt most was when she said the poor should stop having babies. I also complained about other show host most notably the early morning attack chihuahua Guy On Something. I don't expect the unexpected in their reply but it seemed a more positive thing to do than taking an axe to my radio.Reading through this and other threads it strikes me that there are so many onto it and intelligent posters here. You guys and gals should throw a party. Maybe call it the Sensible Party or I remember what NZ once was Party. Cheers.

I agree Katharine with your viewpoint and there are dirty tricks being used against him. The revelations of the moment of truth guests highlighted this.
I loved the Eminem law suit irony – hope that works out the way it should.
I am not deriding Dotcom at all but I think there are too many out there that do hate him just because of who he seems to be portrayed as by those who would like to rid the country of him.
I too was an expat and agree again with your comment. I lived in the Middle East for 4 years and it was an amazing experience to be surrounded by people NZ’ers may find difficult. I made some wonderful friends from perceived as possibly undesirables here. Most often they were from the low paid exploited labourers.
I still like to think ( naively perhaps ) that we are accepting people and I was welcomed as being a person in a management role who made time to talk, eat with, befriend and visit the labour camps ( where I was invited – extremely unusual ).
I must say on return a few years back things have changed somewhat in our welcoming ways.
Getting back to Kim, it served the purpose for those who found him an easy target to divert attention to/at him.
