Voted at the local church hall, very pleasant & picked up some tasty white chocolate & apricot oat cookies at the fair they had going on. Am quite surprised at Winston Peters NZ First comeback. Very pleased for the Greens turnout

Me too. Was a lifegueard there for years & have whanau over on Matakana Island still.
This whole situation makes me so angry and sad. -
Christmas spent on the wonderful Matakana Island. Whanau everywhere, Fantastic weather, clear cool water. The only bummer was the midgees on the beach which feasted on my feet.

Oooh thanks for the DVD/CD! I've just found out now, as some asswipe burgled our house on Friday night & took both laptops. (along with other less expensive but more sentimental items).

I'm a late starter in the veggie garden too (really wish i'd listened more to mum!) but I'm learning & I love it - especially the taste and sense of acheivement. Have a good crop of beetroot, carrots, brocolli, lettuce, corn & tomatoes underway.
Any hints on how to keep the cat from using the garden as a huge litter box?
I've currently got a spiderweb of string between stakes to try & diverte her, but with limited success. -
