After reading that review I not only want to read the book, but I also want want Nicky Hager to be Prime Minister - someone who actually cares and thinks at depth about our country and its future! More power to his pen

There were lemming there, though. Shuffling along behind one another, as they do. I heard some fell into the water on the TV news, but have not heard any confirmation from other sources.

I guess he may mean the ceo of MED? Or MFAT
MED administers the Act. But there is mention in the Act of the establishement of a Rugby World Cup Authority so who knows who he means. It'll be someone who won't be permited to answer the Minister back, you can be sure of that.

BBC Radio 1 presenter Jen Long – in New Zealand for the Going Global Music Summit – tells us that radio still matters as the “gatekeeper” in an era where there is more music to be had than ever.
And therein lies the fail. There are no more "gatekeepers" in the old sense of being an exclusive source. What radio needs to be is a curator, a recommender, a trusted reviewer. And even then it may be too late.

Gods, I love reading Fisk! Who else would use "spavined" in his opening paragraph and still make you read to the end?
