  • Hard News: Unflattering stereotypes…,

    Weird is Good! Absolutely.

Wasn't that great? All his own idea too.

  • The Rae Brown Family on Attitude TV,

The text is a bit wayward -- only one of our boys is out of school - but the item itself is very good, and our trust in the programme makers, in letting the boys be interviewed unaccompanied, was well rewarded. Stay tuned for more on the neurodiversity front in the next month or two.

And Tony Johnston is a disgrace. he is so one eyed it make me cringe listening to him whinge and moan and never give any credit to the opposition, meanwhile slagging the ref off for not giving the ABs penalties every 60 seconds and for daring to penalise us.

To be fair, he had a point in the Durban game. Poor old Kelleher got called for knock-ons that were clearly the result of prone Bok players messing with the ball at the breakdown. One time Rolland appeared to be looking directly at a big green arm reaching through to spoil the ball, and still called the knock-on. And that carried-back incident was ludicrous. I'd hate to see a call like that decide a crucial World Cup game.

  • Radiation: A load of PUS,

Speaking of Mr Simm (who I deprived of an "m" above -- my keyboard has decided it doesn't like that letter), if you didn't see the Jonathan Ross interview with him, there's a clip here. Funny story at the end about going out for an all-nighter with the missus, not sleeping and then going to the ballet.

  • Hard News: Here and There,

I was in Chch over the weekend to hang out with The LEDs (they played Lyttelton on Fri, The Dux on Sat).

Russell, they sampled you saying "Christchurch's best kept secret, The LEDs..." in their opening song.

    Ha! Nice!

Fittingly enough, I played We Are the LEDs a lot on my travels. Apart from anything else, it just sounds so cool.

BTW, could Prime please kick off Doctor Who immediately. I really need to join Spoiler Sluts Anonymous, but Utopia & The Sound of Drums? Bugger. Me.

  • Hard News: Singapore, I have a problem,

Sam's 9, I must start teaching him how to rebuild the things himself, save me the bother.

Of course. But if your house is like mine, you'll reach a point where the little scamp thinks he knows more than he really does, and things get a bit messy.

I touught that the concept of peering had fallen on deaf ears from the tenor of your post after you attended the Auckland City Link on the subject. I should have had more faith perhaps.

You must have missed a few posts since then Neil ;-)

Aahahaha.... Apple pwns j00, Russb. You forgot to sacrifice your first-born to The iJobs, didn't you? Told you, he doesn't take kindly to such omissions.

Heh. The iMac's got a way to go before it overhauls the piece-of-crap Acer in the kids' room though. And Firewire target disk mode is a remarkably handy way to get to a hosed computer ...

The police then take her phone book, phone, PDA and computer and haul every one in them in, her parents and grandparents included, for urine and hair tests......they still do that sort of thing

All the time, I gather. You can be sent to jail solely on blood-test evidence. If you're a Singapore citizen, that applies even if you've indulged in another country where, say, cannabis is legal. Being Singaporean means the government owns your body.
