we were wondering where that lovely heavy scent was coming from!
It took me years to work that one out - till I looked closely, I didn't even know those bushes had flowers till then. So secretive. Tiny, dark and hidden in the leaves. And even more secretive, a night scented flower that blooms in spring when it's not exactly tempting to be outside enjoying it......

One of my favourite spring-things – pittosporum. You really only get the benefit of the scent if you’re out at night.

The Leggs crew has been busy with funerals over the last week too.
This cineraria bud held in a raindrop seems to say something about the way the vibrant colour of life continues to shine even in the middle of tears.

Venus between the more central branch tips of pre-Spring walnut tree as the crescent moon passed nearby on its orbit, when the pigeon flew through the frame

Nice little spots of yellow Chris.Out at Bethells beach yesterday, glorious (Spring) day. There were a pair of shags flying around.
