Looks like sparaxis
Yup they were sparaxis – I’ve always thought of them as Spraxias, and was also confused about whether they were Spraxias or Ixias. I bought seven plants as ‘potted colour’ years ago and now get a purple and white display every year without any effort. It’s just starting up now.
Also – big Tui envy there!!! Amazed at how you all get so close and get such beautiful bird pictures!
Also, beautiful sunsets Chris Waugh – they look great in the pictures and must’ve looked even more amazing ‘in person’.
Oh and while there is still space …
