I should have said, on Air NZ.
-
I just flew to Chch and back, and the destination not withstanding, the service was fine, the flights were on time and very pleasant, the selfcheck in was very easy. So no complaints here.

Loving. That. I am a firm believer in our anglosaxon language. I even like the C word - both male and female versions - and how often do you get to use it in mixed company? Not often enough for my liking.

I happen to love that Air NZ ad - very clever I thought. Now, Russell - when can we expect to see the NZ version of the Fuck You song? Eh? I know you have been somewhat unwell, but it's just not on. The tease has gone on long enough. Any longer and I will suspect that you were just toying with your (well, PA's) loyal followers.

The elderly are big consumers of morphine, and its respiratory depression effects are bad, whereas the 'appetite stimulation' properties of cannabis derivatives are largely positive.
I think that if it hadn't been for certain appetite stimulants, my Ian would have never survived his leukemia. One thing cancer, and it's treatments, did for Ian was to remove all appetite. And because his taste buds got all stuffed up, he either just didn't feel like eating, or he had everchanging tastes, because nothing tastes right. (Can you imagine loving hospital mince? Well, Ian loved it at one stage. I could never replicate it properly.) He selfmedicated and, I won't say his appetite returned to normal, but at least he could eat. As for morphine, Ian will be on it (or the cheap version offered nowadays) for the rest of his life. One of the many pleasant side effects of the harsh chemical treatments he was required to go through was that he was left with Chronic Pain Syndrome. And the Mary Jane won't touch that.

Did anyone else have to sing 'Lily the Pink' at assembly, or was that just my weird-assed primary school?
I never learned it at school, but then I never had to because I already knew it off by heart. How, you may ask? Because when I was about 4 - so the mid sixties - it was played on the radio all the time, and it was my most very favourite song, of all time. I can still remember most of the words, too.

Emma, I think you are onto something here. But I don't think I'll be watching the doco anyway. Because I'm flying down to Chch on Saturday, and, you know, I would hate to be caught talking to airline stewards.

I don't know much about osteopathy. However, I do know several people who have had screaming newborns, taken them to get some cranial manipulation, and Robert's your father's brother. No more screaming babies. Happy babies. So, there's no hard evidence? It just doesn't matter if it helps people is my VHO.

Further- why do tourists ever come here?
To see you, of course!

Its worse than that. He was a Cul de Sac dweller.
And what's wrong with a cul de sac? Eh? Oh, hang on. I just live in a dead end street. As you were. I was getting above myself.
