Well, it doesn’t say, “This is the character who gets most of the lines in every episode”, so no.
For the tag line for the first episode to mention unknown characters and not the established ones smacks of ignorance of the preceding series and an overwhelming shift to a US centric cast order, why bother to even mention Torchwood?.
with Gwen being the character equivalent of nails down a blackboard.
Well, she is Welsh.

Contractor posts clips from cbd red zone’s streets.
Finally, we have some idea of what the City looks like now.
I have to say that from what I saw on the videos that the damage is far less than I had imagined, I expected to see very few unbroken windows for a start and you can't tell me it is ALL safety glass.
The biggest surprise was how little activity there seemed to be, I was expecting rows upon rows of trucks being loaded with rubble and carted away, instead of numerous pieces heavy machinery sitting idle and these videos were shot on a Monday and a Thursday?. -

Can I just threadjack briefly to register my dismay at the soulless Americanisation of Torchwood last night…
Well, I for one, as they say...
I saw the tag line after watching it last night.Prime's hot new star studded 10 part international thriller. When a convicted felon survives execution, people realise no one can die. Can CIA agents Matheson and Drummond save humanity from itself?.
No mention of Captain Jack? says it all really.
Sucked big time. -

Also, I repress the urge to just laze around all the time, and force myself to work. That can have a positive net happiness outcome, at times.
But then again just hanging out and soaking up the sun with a couple of buddies and a case of beer can be way cool, once you get over that Protestant Work Ethic nonsense.

Bob Parker on manipulating the Media...
The Nylon, the Stitch, and the Hi-Vis Wardrobe.
"Our job is to ensure the story they leave with is maybe not the same story they came here imagining they might do," he said.
"It's all about managing the interest of the media and helping them to focus on the remarkable recovery.Yup, things are just dandy in Narnia.

The government have consistently pronounced that it’s all about “preserving equity”
They rarely mention who's equity they are preserving, if ever. Their lack of interest in stepping up to the plate and buying up tracts of land for the recovery indicates that the equity they wish to preserve is that of the property developers and land owners. That equity grows by the day as the Government sits back and rubs its hands with glee.

Can I just ask that if you guys want to reference information can we just refrain from using the Herald as the infallible source?

I know this is RWC and expectations are it should be Olympics standards
I think it should be clarified the RWC stands for RugbyWorld Cup not Rugby WorldCup.
A subtle difference which means Global standards do not apply.

And here is the story from the Horses mouth without the National Party advertising. EQC reassures claimants over revised liability
The only thing holding back EQC in paying out has been Bill English giving them permission.Under the funds procedures, EQC must ask Finance Minister Bill English for permission before liquidating any of the fund's assets in the event of a large-scale disaster.
The minister and the Treasury, are to offer advice on which assets to liquidate first under guidelines set up in 2001.Nice to see Mr English has given this priority, it has taken him all year to get off his arse.
