is there any way to watch this over the internet? i'm in japan and have been missing quality TV like EML.. :(
There are a couple of YouTube uploaders promising to post the best bits. I'll link to them in OurTube if and when they appear.
I might try and get hold of the al Qaeda bloopers tape they did. That rocked.

I have to admit, I'm pleased for everyone involved that it's been a success, etc etc ...
But do I find it funny or even particularly enjoyable?
Not so much, and the current series less so than the first two.

BTW - we have people close who are into Omegatrend "The giving never stops!"
Ugh. Couldn't you get them to take up something more socially redeeming? A P habit, perhaps?

BTW, anyone else have crashing problems with Safari on Public Address System?
I've had a few crashes, but I suspect the problem is at my end. The prefs may reset after the crash, or the preset menu bar items (Apple, eBay) I've deleted come back.
Tried deleting the preferences file, didn't seem to help.

I guess the other option is that Apple are planning to set up a proper Apple NZ and shuffle Renaissance out of the game in terms of distribution.
Hmmm. Apple Australia has always treated NZ like the poor cousin, so if they are planning to properly establish an Apple NZ now that Renaissance (and any number of retailers) are selling iPods hand over first, that would be ironic ...
I visited the Apple Store in San Francisco recently - good but not great, I thought. The best part is the genius bar or whatever they call it, which you can book a face-to-face chat with someone who can (hopefully) solve your problem ...

It bothered me that the Iranian 20/20 presenter and the Iranian correspondent were clearly played by the same actress. Like, how hard is it to get another Iranian comedic actress in New Zealand? Oh, wait...
That's Gollee, the bFM Breakfast newsreader - she seems quite a talent. Yesterday Mikey played a song she recently recorded that contained some amazing singing (in Persian, presumably) .
Good sense of humour too ...

Why did Flying Pig get it so completey wrong... and more importantly half a decade later, why had nobody managed to get it right? It's retail and it's on-line, this is not rocket science!
As far as I can tell, Real Groovy Records got it right - in part because they waited and shooed away a bunch of underskilled developers trying to charge handsome money.
I think it was about two years ago that Chris Hart told me the site was doing the equivalent of a good Saturday's trading every week. Anyone who's worked in that line knows Saturday's the day you make your money, so it seems they're going nicely.

interestingly enough, i offered the herald my peice that appeared on public address re this issue, but they chose not to publish it. and they don't appear to have had a headline "muslims in nz outraged at comments by sheikh alhilaly", even though i forwarded to simon (with permission) the comments of others who had responded to eyad.
This seems very shabby on the Herald's part. It would be nice to hear from Simon about it, although I suspect that's unlikely. My sympathies, Anjum. As I said when we corresponded about your essay, I'm not big on organised religion, but I do care about people.

Is that rude? It sort of looks like it might be ...
Hey, thanks for the reports. I feel privileged to read it here before Hubris ...
