    The French make bad coffee too, in my experience. In Italy, even the coffee served in motorway service stations is superb.

    Yes, the Italians make excellent wine, as well. There's a saying amongst wine buffs (or snobs, if you will) that the French export all their good wine and drink the shit, and the Italians do the opposite.

    Yes, slowly....pushing too hard can be dangerous, as Ben has described. I've also heard of one exploding, but then I suspect the person doing the pushing was ignorant about what can happen when you compress water in a glass container.

    Oh, yes. Lions' tour circa 1959 - iirc - when hotel staff still brought in the early morning cuppa at 6-30 or thereabouts, and the tourists (players and journos alike) were like startled little jackrabbits. Something to write home about, apparently. And about that time many stories about "Tea! Do you take sugar? Oh, don't stir it then..."

    One thing is recording a mistake, another saying that it's an acceptable alternative spelling. It isn't - at least not yet.

    I'd be inclined to put quotes around the word in question. But that's just me....

    but Dominos’ Tofu – Yes! yum, fond memories…

    Do they not do that any more? If they do, I'll be in there....

    Burgerfuel used to do a delicious tofu burger, then removed it from the menu, sans notice of any sort. I sent a mildly complaining (well, whingeing really) email to them, which they kindly ignored, so I've never been back.
