But I'll be fit enough to make lunch for the assembled PA bloggers

Good to hear. Say hello from the plebs!

How are you feeling, Russell? If I were you, I would read the latest Metro and feel considerably better. You've made it to the upper echelons of the Police Force without even trying.

  • Hard News: Flu diversions,

I can bring you an anecdoctor. I have a friend who's a teacher. She always gets sick in the holidays, particularly the holidays after the winter term.

In the first couple of years of teaching, my body used to collapse on the first day of most holiday periods. Now, however, after 12 years I seem to have an uber immune system. Either that or I'm just a hardened old bitch. I suspect it's the latter.

I think Jackie was trying to pay me a compliment

Justement. Even if you are seriously politically maladjusted.

Do you see what happens, Russelll? It's a very slippery slope. First, you let National supporters post here, Okay we can swallow that - at least Craig is funny and witty and sharp and stylish. But do we really have to be exposed to the Christian Right as well? Haven't we suffered enough?

Danielle, Jackie, I'm seeing this as the future marital home - whaddya reckon?

Now, that would be something. (Hey, shouldn't this be on Emma's thread? What with talk of polyamory and all.)

Also, is it wrong of me to want that house with a fiery passion? I mean, I really really want it. (Apart from the lounge suite. But I would keep everything else!)

I completely agree. I love those interior carpeted stairs. God, I miss the 70's.....

  • It's a Heartache - WIUO,

I thought so. She's very vivacious! And yes, very buxomly luscious.

  • Up Front: And a Pony. A Sparkly One.,

a day where I sort of advocated polygamy

And got a very fast result from the telly folk, Emma.

I've sort of avoided posting on this because it's way outside my range of experience or knowledge. I just have to say though - I found that photo of that man and his two partners a little disquieting. Large handsome man and two lovely women, kissing. I'm sure they're all consenting, and I know whatever turns you on etc but I find the portrayal of that relationship, photographically speaking anyway, a little lopsided in the power dynamic area.
