Aah, the intricacies of the English language still befuddle many Ian. Good then they didn't try to include Martin's 'challenging' spelling of his surname!
Am looking forward to catching this lineup not having seen the band Since early 90s though did catch Martins's great solo set in Chch for NZ Music Minth in 2015.
BTW, I must have been in another kaleidoscope world when that 80-odd recording Secret Box was released, completely missed it. Does anyone know of where I can track one down?

and it's really worth another look
Certainly was! What a fab re-find. Silly me, I never went to the gig at the time but watching it just now, it felt I was there. Chris Knox is in great form and love that Cale rendition of Heartbreak Hotel.

pleased yesterday when new vinyl ...turned up
Talking of which, be sure to check out Motte's (aka Anita Clark) brand spanking new album Strange Dreams - available on vinyl release today too!
Motte also plays this weekend in Aotea Square as part of the Summer in the Square series. Get on down and enjoy a sonic force to be reckoned with.

Love the Echo Ohs - they played a great show at the Darkroom earlier in the year. Get out and get a copy of their 7" You Don't Mind / The Gnarl - in either orange or blue on white hand printed sleeves - while they last.
Here's some footage from a 2015 95bFM Breakfast Club session.

Good news, it's been recovered - there will be more Terminals!
Oh, and Dark Matter will play again this week as part of launch of Cheap Thrills II. the second edition of the magazine which is documenting and celebrating all the great music - then and now - being made in the Garden City.
And why not, here's that great Terminals' track from their first album, Uncoffined

There's much cool stuff also unfolding in the Garden City - try this tonight, Good Vibrations a FREE sound artists party at the Art Gallery which includes Michael Morley, Instant Fantasy, New Dawn (Indy Force and Anita Clark duo) and Skew-whiff MD and Mr Christopher Stone.
Did I say Michael Morley...also, tomorrow evening, a rare outing by those 'grand old men of meaningless noise', the Dead C at that growing live venue of choice, the Lyttelton Coffee Company - the Dead C with Greg Malcolm.
