Pure genius. Thanks for that.
I can always be relied on for cocktail recipes. I would be the ideal addition to any workplace, and I am available after June 30...

Good suggestion. Some ideas on how to deal with the on-going feijoa glut would be welcome--but not chutney, as we still have chutney from 3 years back!
Put them in the blender with a couple of handfulls of icecubes, the juice of a fresh lime or two, a splash of sugar syrup depending on how sweet your palatte is, and a couple of glugs of either white rum or tequilla. Blend, drink, make some more.

Good question Jo, I had to look it up
Now I feel like a plant!

Actual serious sport-ish related question: why do they (or at least you - I don't read anything else about sports) call it a "strip"?

I drank a fo'ty once. It was not in Auckland, though.
I drank Sparks Malt Liquor as part of my Willamsburg-as-Disneyland tour. It was yucky.

Also, I'm glad that she knows that it was Smashproof who "put it in her zone", but I am curious as to what the 40s they're talking about consist of. Can you actually buy malt liquor in NZ?

Incidentally, why are 'the hotties' in NZ R&B or hip-hop videos always so instantly recognisable as *our* hotties? It can't just be that they're probably distantly related to me (like everyone in the country), can it? Is it our film stock? Their clothes? The light? I swear, I could see five seconds of a NZ video with Random Sexy People in it, without knowing the artist, and know they were local peeps. It's weird.
I think it's self-consciousness - it is not our nature to be video hotties lounging around doing nothing. We're supposed to be making scones, rounding up sheep and raising babies.

Am I the only one who thinks that the 'Friday' video looks like an ALAC ad trying to do a sick kind of homage to the 'Smack My Bitch Up' video?
Also: don't text and drive! Sheesh, kids these days.

I officially declare 'Blue Monday' The Worst Possible Song To Listen to While on Acid.
It is, however, the best song on Hottest Dance Party Ever! and has the easiest dance moves.

This is what my screen looks like. Deconstruct that!
