That sounds ok untill you realise that the blogshere (and this just the blogs I have read this morning ) claims that the english are returning to the true faith and everything in the bible can be taken literally except it does need to be interpreted by priests etc
There is also the continuing meme that the sky is going to fallMy point being it is hard to sift the wheat from the dross
And my economocs lecturer suggested the whole collapse 40 years ago it just took longer than he expected

It has alwas seemed to me that Reserve Bank Governors have to appear boring because all their statments are checked and scanned for hidden meanings

Yes we do care but it is difficult to do anything when you are stuck on the other side of the world
First thing my sister said when she rang me to say she had arrived in France

She still sounds in shock and said it is unusual to feel better after a 20 hour flight

I am in Grenoble, I first thought it must be April 1 when I red the lines on my french computer
Was able to ring and speak to one sister living in the epicentre area
They are ok, their house survived and fortunatly my car although it has moved was ok
Actually I had not thought about the personal connection of my car rather the survival of people. Good news all round on survival of people
It did sound as if there has been alot of building damage out in that area as well as in town
I do wonder though I have only been out of the country for three weeks and the place seems to have gone tits up

One of the joys (about the only one) of old age is not having to travel with your kids
Mind you I am looking forward to travelling through France with two sons, a sister and one of the son's new wife. And of of course my own dear wife/map reader/ driver

No point giving my fav routes as I imagine there are not a lot of PAS locally and if there were they would no the good ones
One of the real joys of my old age is taking up biking, first on one of the kids old MTBs and now my own hybrid
I am not convinced disc brakes are necessary for my type of riding but adjustable suspension is a great toyI hadn't ridden since my early teens (not counting horses and the last 20 years of quads of course) and its just so much fun
Although I have to say with the recent frosts I have been doing some serious walks instead as to keep fit, we are off to France for a village type wedding so don't want to let the side down
Fingerless gloves are essential I don't think I could leave home with out them now even though I have yet to take a serious spill
I think it pays to buy from a good local shop that will stand behind their gear and as above, this is a good time to do it -
I always thought the stand-up collar had something to do with schools where only some people (1st11 etc) could wear their clothes in certain ways, how this moved to women of a certain age I cannot imagine
I do have report that I do on occasions wear my collar in this manner because quite frankly it does keep the sun off your neck, heaven forbid that someone might think that I was a redneck -
