You all realise, of course, that this whole song thing is but a smokescreen to hide today's announcement of ticket pricing?
A 'category A' pack for five games at Eden Park will cost $1,720 plus a $15 handling fee. The equivalent package for games in Christchurch will cost $740.
After the National Gubmint has coughed up $99 squillion of "Our Hard Earned Money"® we will have to sit at home shivering as we hunt for a job and worry about feeding the kids. While we watch hoards of marauding foreign Rugby fans queue relentlessly for trains and buses, fumbling through their pockets for loose change.
When their teams have been mercilessly thrashed by "Our" Almighty All Blacks® they will slink back to their humble backpackers lodge and wait patiently for their plane home. They will not be visiting the local pubs or restaurants or even paying inflated prices for Lion Red® whilst they huddle in the damp wind that howls up the harbour at "Party Central"®. They will depart penniless, penniless as the Bar and Café owners.
The winner on the day, of course, will be Rugby® -
I am off to dinner with a conceptual artist,

Do I tell you often enough that I love you, I wonder?
Sometimes he looks right through me... as if I wasn't there...

Well done teams.
At the end of round one we have Paul with the most points and Gio in a comfortable last place, which in postmodernist terms, means Gio is in the lead.
Paul, your bonus for 10..

Report finds Heatley didn't understand expenses rules
ignorantia juris non excusatLabour leader Phil Goff said it was appropriate Mr Heatley had resigned and did not think he should be returned quickly or it would look like "a very temporary sanction"........
"I think the position went to his head very quickly - he had barely been a minister a year, and he had that sense of entitlement. There needs to be sanctions against any person at any time who has that sense of entitlement and misspends Crown money."

I'd love to... but where are the juvenile jokes about us having breakfast together the first time around? Is everyone feeling okay today?
I think we all can guess how Emma likes her eggs in the morning. </juvenile joke>

Ben, you can still join in. There is the wider question of censorship here as well, there is the question of internet filtering particularly and that is part of your expertise is it not?.

I'm more impressed that the prostitutes were all fully compliant with their tax obligations, and that they registered for GST.
I left the bordello feeling a little cheated, I felt like I needed 12.5% more.

I'm totally ignorant, by choice, of this particular video and song. Is that better than watching it and being disgusted? I took the same attitude regarding the Kurariki case.
Yes Ben, I was not ignorant of that fact.
However, the point I was making was that although ignorance may be bliss it is not a good foundation for criticism or debate. I am sure you would be the last person to argue or judge from that position, unlike those on that particular forum.
Ignorance can also stem from a blind adherence to a belief without evidence, like many of those opposed to the US health reforms who argue from a position of ignorance of facts but with a richness of opinion.
