  • Southerly: A Nightmarish Moment,

I thought I saw you at The Regent 3 Cinema in Alexandra Street.

I think I saw Men in Black there. You have a terrific memory.

Great things have come from Te Awamutu--not just the Finns.

    My beloved, for one thing.

(but they do have to be publishable!)

There goes my expletives-only section on the state of our newspapers.

    - A NZ$10,000 guaranteed minimum income to replace all benefits

Wow, the harpist cycling woman will be happy. Can somebody enlighten me on what is the current level of benefits, say for somebody with a permanent disability? I wonder how much it would come to once all the bits are assembled.

As for the flat tax proposal, I won't express my feelings just in case there may be children watching.

  • Hard News: Party Time, Excellent,

The majority of babies, especially first babies, are born after the due date, as a result of a complex evolutionary mechanism designed to enable their mothers to attend Pixie concerts.

(Of course in ancient times these used to be actual pixies.)

  • Southerly: A Nightmarish Moment,

Didn't Stephen attempt to establish that I was from Te Awamutu a while ago? I'd have to check the record.

Philip, we should fly you to New Zealand one of these launches... And David, what the others said, the story was fabulous, and delivered with great composure.

  • Hard News: The March for Democracy,

One of mine bothered to read other blog posts and make it personal. It was frankly quite shocking.

  • Hard News: The March for Democracy,

I don't want to run a site that generates hate mail. I would like anyone who has sent anything of the kind to apologise and not do it again.

Sorry, nothing to do with PAS, it happened to me after my post. Although the few Gage supporters in the blog comments kept it quite civil, to their credit.

Hilary knows about this and I think she was referring to that. These are all US based gentlefolk, nothing to do with this forum.

  • Hard News: The March for Democracy,

    7. It's just an internet discussion thread. There'll be another one tomorrow.

You obviously haven't seen the blueprints for my Doomsday Device.

    Ops, I said too much.
