I'm on record claiming it's a serious issue, and should be treated as such. And it may be something that happened away from New Zealand several years ago, but so are many other atrocities.

I believe what I expressed was great surprise that somebody - and it happened to be Ian - thought that Richard Gage was in the business of asking honest questions. I stand by that, if that makes me a condescending douchebag so be it. But I guess people can go back to rereading the relevant section of the thread and judge for themselves.
