Ben: what a great thing that your boy has such a thoughtful old man --
If only the likes of Mr. Clive had such a thoughtful old man -- The world would be a better place.

Can anyone here wire up a 3 pin plug ? Fix a leaking tap?
The site seems to be composed entirely of idealists not realists.People who think they have a monopoly on intelligent debate.
People with little practicality. You Sir are a fool, I almost got angry there but I know a troll when I see one and I won't bite. Next time you wire up a 3 pin plug I hope you get it catastrophicly

believe it or not some of us are so far ahead of the curve that i wonder if society will ever catch up
Oh I dunno, Deborah Coddington seems to have caught up and as for us being a minority, PAS is one of the widest read blogs in NZ and the fact that we don't attract many rabid trolls is because opinions expressed around here are, actually, quite widely held. I would presume the opinions of the likes of Mr. Clive are the minority views.
We can read narrow minded bigotry and ignorance in "Your Views" in the Herald every day, it's called your views for a reason, it is the views of "Others". -
I wonder how long it will be before Steven Joyce pushes to get this law repealed because of a lack of truck drivers. One of the major causes of vehicle accidents is fatigue, far greater than drugs or alcohol or even speed (as in going too fast). So one way of reducing the road toll would be to make some drugs compulsory.

OK. As it's Friday.
This is what people on drugs do. -
Because I've read the whole speech,
As have I. I also noticed that Goff didn't mention the Holocaust, I guess that makes him a denier.

Can someone explain to me why this is considered racist?
I reject strongly the allegation the Prime Minister made that anyone who has concerns about this deal is playing the race card.
Race is a red herring in this deal. It’s about subsidies for big corporations, and I am not going to shy away from saying so.Seems the opposite to me

If like ACT, you pursue policies that build social injustice, the fallout from that is an underclass of socially excluded, delinquent people.
Which is what it means to be Left... behind.

Closing threads can be really annoying, not here though and I agree with the idea behind the closing of this one even if that is only because of "Who the fuck really cares and why does anybody feel they need to know" etc.
Geekzone closes threads as a matter of course if nobody has replied to that thread for 30 days which is really annoying for those looking for a solution to a technical problem. Grrr.
