I pop (drive or cycle if it's fine) over to cutler Phil Ruddenklau's house in Remuera every 3 months or so to get my main (well only one I ever really need) kitchen knife sharpened. It's 9 bucks cash and we discuss his epic cycle tours while he does it in his garage.
Can provide his number and address if you want. -
Does anyone know exactly where this will be located? I read conjecture about the TVNZ site being required and TVNZ knowing nothing about it but this seems unlikely surely.

Hard News: Back to mediocrity, in reply to
I should add that we've been season ticket holders (in the South Stand- except during its rebuild in 2010) for more than 20 years and although the experience is way superior to what it was I agree with all the issues you've had.
Have given up bothering to complain though as usually nothing gets responded to or fixed.
apart from useless wifi I could add:
- no Sports Ears reception in the toilets (if you have to go during the game you'll invariably miss a try)
- ticket scanners not working over the South side either- one turnstile couldn't read anything and one next to it permanently showed Go, letting anyone thru whether you scanned a ticket/pass or not!
- food: made the mistake of- for the first time- buying a hot dog late in the game which had been in the warmer waaaay too long.Of course this all matters less if your team is winning. Bring back Carlos and Douggie...

And don't bother trying to use the stadium wifi. Useless.

A pleasure and privilege to work with you again Wed night, however briefly. Regarding your SoundCloud issue, thought you might be interested in this very handy link.. http://m.lifehacker.com/5891635/download-any-mp3-from-soundcloud-with-this-bookmarklet

"Seriously: get a decent tap beer, pre-fill the cups and separate the food and drink."
And leave the frigging caps on the water-bottles so most of it doesnt end up being kicked over on the floor. I now take a couple of bottle screwcap to gigs to get around this ridiculous nannying -
"The one big thing I’d change? The awful, disfunctional Flash-based Splore website,"
This is unfortunately a common occurrence. Hopefully one day very soon events will realise that many of their audience/clients will be trying to access the site on their smartphone on the day and that it needs to be a lot easier to navigate. And no, it doesn't need a separate event app. -
Can someone get noise control to check the level of the PA at Eden Park? Painfully loud. My Sports Ears are currently getting more use as earplugs!
Great weekend tho, great atmosphere everywhere and glad to see a more positive media spin.

Just get the words Flash Flash in place of the video when browsing on Chrome on Mac here.
